Loft S Karakoy

This interior design is a powerful example of the Modern Brutalist style, skillfully merging industrial and minimalist elements. The space's identity is defined by the prominent use of exposed, unfinished concrete (béton brut) on the ceiling and walls; this raw material lends a massive and monolithic character to the room. Focused on functionality, the open-plan layout seamlessly combines the living, dining, and bar/kitchen areas, while the furniture features sharp, geometric lines and a simple aesthetic. The palette is monochromatic, dominated by shades of grey and black; this dark and moody atmosphere is softened by linear and warm-toned lighting that runs along the walls, achieving depth and a luxurious ambiance. The full-height glass facade creates a striking loft aesthetic by contrasting the interior's harsh materials with the city's illuminated panorama.
